And the half back was only too happy to oblige.

Making the top eight was a realistic goal for Warrington at the start of the season.
We have no excuses for failing bearing in mind the quality of this squad.
We've dropped too many points, it's as simple as that.

Warrington 44 Harlequins 34 WARRINGTON coach Tony Smith admitted his side's victory lacked quality in defence as the Challenge Cup winners brought their season to a close.
Kevin Penny grabbed two tries and there were also scores for Ben Westwood, Lee Briers, Matt Blythe, Alex Thompson, Micky Higham and Tyrone McCarthy.

A hat-trick from Luke Dorn couldn't prevent Harlequins slipping to a 44-34 loss at the hands of Warrington.
Kevin Penny scored two of the Wolves' eight tries as the Challenge Cup winners rounded out their season in style.
For Quins the loss was their 11th in 12 outings - a dreadful slump in form that means they finish up in 11th position having been ensconced in the top eight for so much of the campaign.

The Challenge Cup winners are now most unlikely to add a run in the Super League play-offs to this season's adventures.
Without suffering from a full-scale Wembley hangover, the Wolves were convincingly beaten by a Rovers side who are one of this year's main success stories.
The Robins could yet be a nuisance to the big two, Leeds and St Helens, at the business end of the season.

Clint Newton scored a hat-trick as Hull KR beat Warrington 40-16 to all but end the Challenge Cup winners' hopes of reaching the end-of-season play-offs.
Lee Briers threw a dummy to send Mick Higham over as Wolves took an early lead, but Jake Webster cut inside and beat four players to level for Rovers.
Second row Newton rumbled over from halfway and Kris Welham ran 70m as Rovers led 22-12 at half-time.
